The Tokyo Tower is one if Tokyo's iconic landmarks and definitely an attraction on it's own. During our last trip to Tokyo we stayed at two different hotels that will give you stunning views and plenty of photo opportunities to capture this iconic Tokyo landmark.
Park Hotel Tokyo
Park Hotel Tokyo is located just a few minutes walk from Tokyo's upscale district and shopping paradise Ginza. Its tower facing rooms also offer stunning views over the city and Tokyo Tower. The feeling of waking up to this view is just priceless. Let me tell you a bit of what to expect when staying at Park Hotel Tokyo.
The location is very convenient due to its proximity to Shimbashi station where you will find many lines of the Tokyo subway and JR trains. Ginza is reachable by foot and you have direct access through the hotels ground floor to the Oedo and line.
The rooms are located on the upper floors of a office building, so city views are guaranteed, but I highly recommend booking one of the tower facing rooms. The hotels theme is all about art. You will see many art pieces when entering the main lobby and each floor will feature different art pieces. We stayed in one of the so called Art Rooms. Each Art Room is unique and designed by an artist. Our theme was "Kawaii" was by Yumi Hosaka and especially Teo loved the animal prints.
The room was compact yet had all amenities we needed. The view and sitting area by the window definitely was our favourite part.
Overall Park Hotel Tokyo offers stunning views over Tokyo Tower, great location and amenities at a very reasonable price.
Shiba Park Hotel
Shiba Park Hotel is located in close proximity to Shiba Park and Zōjō-ji temple, which both are right next to Tokyo Tower. A few minutes walk away you will find the best photo spots to capture Tokyo Tower. But besides the great location. Shiba Park Hotel is a great base to explore Tokyo with connections to the Oedo and Asakusa lines.
The hotels vibe is very cozy and homey. A huge library greats you when entering and you instantly feel welcomed. The library theme continues throughout the hotel with each floor having it's own small library room dedicated to a specific genre.
Our room was very cozy and featured all necessities. We also enjoyed breakfast which was a great mix of local breakfast specialities and breakfast classics.
The overall atmosphere and service made us feel very comfortable and coming back to the hotel after a long day of exploring always felt good.
